A Psycholytic (Low-Dose) Ketamine Assisted Yin Yoga Practice
About the Practice
Low + Slow is a psycholytic ketamine-assisted yin yoga practice that uses long-held, supported floor postures to invite gentle embodiment, nervous system settling, and inward listening.
Poses are typically held for 3–5 minutes with an emphasis on comfort, stillness, breath, and spacious awareness rather than stretching deeply or achieving a shape.
"Less Is More"
Low and slow is more than a dosing strategy. It is a mindset shift.
Curiosity Over Urgency
By moving with curiosity rather than urgency, we allow healing to unfold at its own pace.
Connection & Unfolding
Whether through stillness, movement, reflection, or conversation, Low + Slow is an invitation to trust that sometimes less is more.
Gentle Attention
Meaningful change stems from mindful awareness of what is already present, rather than striving for peak experiences.
Guiding Principles
No "right way"
Less is more
Sensation is information
Rest is productive
What to Expect
During Low + Slow, you’ll be guided through a gentle yin yoga sequence while engaging with your prescribed low-dose ketamine protocol.
Yin yoga is a slow, floor-based practice where postures are held for several minutes at a time. In this experience, most shapes are held for about 3–5 minutes, allowing the body time to settle and giving your attention space to turn inward.
You may be invited into supported resting shapes such as lying on your back, drawing one knee toward the chest, gentle twisting, side-body stretching, side-lying rest, prone rest, or child’s pose.
Each posture can be adapted with blankets, pillows, bolsters, or blocks.
This is not an athletic yoga class. There is no expectation to stretch deeply, hold perfectly still, or do every shape.
You are welcome to move, adjust, rest, or skip anything at any time.
About the Facilitator
Meredith Futernick-Gerak (she/hers), LPC is a Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist, Approved Brainspotting Consultant, Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist, and NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider.
Before becoming a therapist, yoga was one of the first practices that helped her reconnect with herself during a difficult season of life. What began as a personal practice in 2011 eventually led to a 200-hour yoga teacher training focused on Classical Yoga + Philosophy in Thailand (2016), Yin Yoga training (2017), and years of teaching and exploring the relationship between body, brain, and healing.
Today, Meredith's work brings together psycholytic ketamine assisted therapy, Brainspotting, parts work, and embodied awareness. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, choice, and the belief that meaningful change often happens when we slow down.
Low + Slow is an evolving practice born from that intersection.
